Official start of construction of the Post-Industrial Coal Mining Heritage Centre in Czeladź.
On 29th July 2020 we signed a contract and on 5th August the city handed over the construction site to ANNA-BUD, and thus the construction of the Post-Industrial Coal Mining Heritage Centre in Czeladź officially began.
The main objective of the project is to create a cultural centre in the building of the former guildhall, bathhouse, cloakroom and administration of the Saturn coal mine, which will house a museum dedicated to the coal tradition of the region and a branch of the municipal public library. The implementation of the project will contribute to the creation of an urban complex of regional and unique significance in the country.
The project involves revitalising a building, currently out of use due to its technical condition, and using it to house a museum and a branch of the municipal public library.
The planned work includes, among other things, construction work to restore the form of the existing building and the addition of a modern bypass in the shape of a lump of coal, thermo-modernisation work, as well as the complete replacement of the central heating and hot water systems and the application of energy-saving solutions such as photovoltaic cells, air-to-water heat pumps, LED lighting and heat recovery.
